Top-10 finish in King of the Commonwealth at VMS

Cla Knight was one of 27 Ultimate Southeast Series entries amassed at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Va.) on Saturday afternoon for the annual Virginia is For Racing Lovers King of the Commonwealth. Following the 11th-fastest time in his group, Knight secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. With Mother Nature shortening the 60-lapper to 23 circuits, Knight clawed forward three spots to finish 10th.
