Top-10 in Buck Simmons Memorial with Carolina Clash

Cla Knight took part in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series doubleheader weekend at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) and Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.).

With 29 Late Model at Lavonia on Friday, Cla timed in 10th-fastest which locked him into the $7,500-to-win Buck Simmons Memorial. In the 40-lap main event, Knight moved passed four competitors to record a sixth-place run.

Traveling to Cherokee on Saturday for the Stick Elliot Memorial, Knight started the 40-lap feature from the 10th-position and pulled off early on lap 23.
