Knight returns to East Alabama for Southern Nationals and Hunt the Front events
Returning to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) for Friday's rain-postponed Southern Nationals Series event, Cla Knight prepared for a two-day weekend at the track.
Placing fourth in Friday's B-Main, Cla rolled off 14th in the $7,553-to-win feature and brought it home 17th after completing 19 laps.
Hoping for better luck with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon, Cla battled for the runner-up spot in his heat race but wound up finishing third. Rolling off ninth in the $10,000-to-win main event, Knight recorded a 13th-place outing after the track rubbered up past halfway.
