Cla Knight returns to competition at Screven Motor Speedway after hiatus
Kicking off his 2024 season, Cla Knight invaded Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for Winter Freeze XIV.
Among 34 Southern All Star Late Models, Knight qualified fast enough to lock himself into the 30-lap feature where he would record an 18th-place finish.
Picking up the pace for Saturday's finale, Cla finished third in his heat which earned him a fifth-row starting spot in the 50-lap feature. With a $12,000 payday on the line, Knight faded back to 14th but rallied to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
